Bruce Scofield is an American astrologer, author, and teacher based in Amherst, Massachusetts. He began studying astrology in 1967 and has worked as a professional astrological consultant since 1980. His consulting style is practical and developmental, using the birth chart as a map of psychological imprinting, life trends, strengths, challenges, and vocational direction. His work draws primarily on 20th-century Western astrology and includes natal analysis, transits, progressions, directions, solar and lunar returns, relocation work, synastry, and composite charts, while also incorporating elements of Hellenistic and classical Western astrology.
