Alex Trenoweth is an award-winning astrologer, author, educator, and researcher based in Greater London, United Kingdom. She holds a BA, MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology (Bath Spa University, 2007), a PGCE, and professional teacher training from University College London. She also holds the Diploma of the Faculty of Astrological Studies (DFAstrolS, 2015) and the ISAR CAP certification, as well as an honorary PhD from the Krishnamurti Institute of Astrology for pioneering research on the Moon's influence in adolescence. Her specialist field is the intersection of astrology and education, mapping Jupiter and Saturn cycles onto child and adolescent development - a body of work presented in her books Growing Pains, Zeus on the Loose, and Mirror Mirror (all published by The Wessex Astrologer). She is the founder and principal of the Rohini Academy of Astrology, the only training institution worldwide dedicated exclusively to safeguarding and child protection within astrological practice. Alex has been voted International Astrologer of the Year (Krishnamurti Institute of Astrology, 2015) and received an Outstanding Service to Astrology award from KIA in 2018. She has spoken on six continents, including at UAC, NORWAC, the ISAR conference, and the IVC conference in Kolkata, India. She lectures for Kepler College, MISPA, and the International Academy of Astrology, and has been published in Dell Horoscope, ISAR Journal, The Astrological Journal, The Career Astrologer, Kindred Spirit, and Correlation. She also hosts the podcast and video series Astrology and Cinema in Reel Life.
