Johanna Vilén is a professional astrologer, solution-focused art therapist, and visual artist based in Tampere, Finland. The path into astrology began in June 1997, a turning point that permanently changed the direction of her work. Over the years she has completed extensive training in astrology in Finland and through English-language courses internationally. From 2007 to 2011 she worked at Seppo Tanhua's Astrologiakeskus before founding her own company, Astrologiapalvelut Kuussa ja Maassa Oy, in April 2011. The approach is rooted in Jungian depth psychology, exploring the symbolic and archetypal dimensions of the birth chart alongside mythology. Tarot is also integrated into the practice where appropriate, as its symbolic world complements the astrological one. The core conviction is that astrology's most important purpose is to simplify life and help find the key to open the doors that life extends. Johanna also holds a qualification as a solution-focused art therapist. She currently leads the Sielunmatkalla training programme, teaching foundational and psychological astrology as well as mythology. Sessions are available in person in Tampere, by phone, and via video call.
