Alexey Borealis
Alexey Borealis (also known under the pseudonym Mark Rusborn) is the founder of Morinus School of Predictive Astrology, specialising in event forecasting down to exact dates using the methods of 17th-century French astrologer Jean-Baptiste Morin. With a Master of Science in theoretical physics from Moscow State University and doctoral research in astrophysics at the Australian National University, the approach to astrology is firmly grounded in logic, mathematical precision, and empirical testing. Astrological education includes the Qualified Horary Craftsman (QHC) qualification from John Frawley's School of Astrology and the Certified in Medieval Astrology (CMA) designation from Robert Zoller's School of Astrology. The school is officially accredited by APAI (Association of Professional Astrologers International). Books, textbooks, and scholarly papers have been contributed to journals including ISAR International Astrologer and Correlation. Current focus is on teaching and mentoring practising astrologers rather than direct client consultations.
