Andrea Gehrz (known as Andy) is an American astrologer, teacher, and translator of ancient Greek astrological texts with over 25 years of professional experience, based in Portland, Oregon. The practice centers on natal chart reading, astrological remediation, and deep engagement with ancient source texts, including translations of Vettius Valens, Porphyry of Tyre, and Ptolemy's Tetrabiblos. Andy is the author of Astrological Remediation: A Guide for the Modern Practitioner and the founder of Moira Press, through which translations and educational books are published. Teaching includes a weekly Master Class for beginner and intermediate astrologers, a weekly forum for intermediate and advanced astrologers, and private one-on-one tutoring. Sessions are offered by live video and in person.
