Jeanni Monks holds the Professional Member designation of the Federation of Australian Astrologers (PMFAA) and is an Accredited Astrology Teacher (AAT-FAA), trained within the FAA examination system. She is President of the Queensland Federation of Australian Astrologers (QFA), a member of the Association of Professional Astrologers (APA), and serves on the FAA Examination Board. Born in Africa, she brings cross-cultural life experience to her counselling and teaching work. She founded the Gemini Rising Academy of Astrology, through which she offers courses from beginner to advanced level, including preparation for the FAA Practitioner's Diploma. A significant personal journey through illness and self-healing through astrology informs her empathic and spiritually oriented approach. She has conducted focused research into the Yod configuration (Finger of Destiny) and its role in sudden life turning points. She has authored eight Astrology Manuals available for purchase and has lectured at international astrology conferences and FAA-related events.
