
Laura Boomer-Trent / Astro Dakini
Laura Boomer-Trent, known as Astro Dakini, is a French-born spiritual astrologer with over 40 years of experience bridging Eastern and Western astrological traditions. Early career included work in film and television, followed by study at the Tibetan Medical and Astro Science Institute in Dharamsala, India (1996-97), under the auspices of the 14th Dalai Lama's institution. Practice integrates Western psychological and esoteric astrology with Tibetan, Chinese, and Indian astrological traditions, yoga, and tantric philosophy. Spiritual mentor was the late Kalachakra Master Lama Kirti Tsenshab Rinpoche, who directed the work toward a globally-oriented, spiritually-conscious astrological practice. Early media work includes creating Channel 4's Astrology Show (1990), three years as BBC astrologer (early 1990s), and editorial work with World Interactive Television on pre-Zoom live astrology readings (1998-2001). Has lectured at the Theosophical Society, the Astrological Lodge of London, the Astrological Association of Great Britain, UAC, and three times at the Krishnamurti Institute for Astrology and Vedic Cultural Wellbeing in Kolkata, India.
