Born in 1951, V.K. Choudhry holds an MBA and worked as a chief marketing manager in a public enterprise before devoting himself fully to astrology. He developed the Systems' Approach (SA) methodology in the early 1990s as a way to simplify and systematize the interpretation of Vedic horoscopes, an approach now referenced internationally in the literature on Hindu astrology. He is the Founder Chairman of the International Institute of Predictive Astrology (IIPA) in Fairfield, USA, which has more than 750 members across 40 countries, and is Director of the Systems' Institute of Hindu Astrology (SIHA). He has participated in astrological conferences in India, the UK, France, and the USA, and has received numerous honorary titles for his contributions to astrology, including Jyotish Vachaspathi and Jyotish Martund. His books have been translated into Portuguese and referenced by astrologers internationally, and he continues to teach Systems' Approach methodology through free online lessons.
