Alara Akkamis holds a dual Philosophy degree from Galatasaray University (Istanbul) and Universite Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, and a Master's in Marketing and Digital Communication from LUMSA (Rome). Her astrological training is extensive and formally certified: she completed programmes in Modern Psychological Astrology, Karmic Astrology, and Uranian Astrology at Baris Ozkiris Donusum Merkezi (2016 to 2017), followed by comprehensive study at Oner Doser AstroArt Astroloji Okulu from beginner through advanced levels including Horary and Mundane Astrology, culminating in the ASA Diploma (2019 to 2025). She undertook specialised rectification training with Mustafa Konur (2020), horary training with Tugba Karadayi Akademi (2024), and Kepler College courses in Zodiacal Releasing and AstroMapping (2025). She holds the ISAR CAP certification (2022) alongside ISAR Ethics and Consulting Skills certificates, and the ASA Diploma. She is a member of ISAR, OPA, NCGR, and APAI. In addition to client consultations, she runs astrology courses and workshops at various levels and maintains an active educational presence through blog content and a YouTube channel covering forecasts, lunations, eclipses, and planetary cycles.
