Alexandra Karacostas is a professional astrologer with a background in psychology, religion, and holistic studies who has been an avid student of astrology since 1975 and practicing professionally since 1984. Based in northern California (Chico area) and relocating to Greece in 2025, she serves an international clientele. The focus of her practice is person-centered astrology: integrating practical, psychological, and spiritual approaches to help clients successfully navigate their lives. A particular specialty is astrocartography and relocation astrology, which she has applied through decades of personal travel and residence in multiple countries. Alexandra has served as President of OPA (Organization for Professional Astrology, 2010-2014) and on the OPA Board of Directors since 2007. She is a certified OPA Consulting Skills and Peer Group facilitator, OPA faculty member, and serves on the editorial board of the Astrology News Service. She has been a contributing writer and columnist for The Mountain Astrologer magazine for nine years, and has contributed chapters to OPA's books The Professional Astrologer and Essential Astrology. She also leads small, specialized sacred site and cultural tours in Greece.
