Anne Ortelee began her study of astrology in the fall of 1994 in New York City, where she lives on the Upper East Side. She became a full-time astrologer in 2001. She holds four certifications: NCGR-PAA Level 3 (National Council for Geocosmic Research), PMAFA (American Federation of Astrologers), ISAR-CAP (International Society for Astrological Research), and OPA (Organization for Professional Astrologers). She has volunteered for the NYC Chapter of the NCGR since May 1995 and has lectured at astrology conferences since December 1998. She served as treasurer of OPA and currently serves as a director of the C.G. Jung Foundation in New York City. Her astrology studies include Psychological and Spiritual Astrology with Eileen McCabe (20 years), Uranian Astrology with Judi Vitale, and Vedic/Jyotish Astrology with Ronnie Dreyer. She hosts several ongoing podcasts including the solo weekly program Anne Ortelee's Weekly Weather and co-hosts the weekly Access Astrology and The Astrologer and the Alchemist. She also runs New Moon Manifestation Circle webinars each month and teaches online courses. Prior to astrology she had a career in computer programming, software sales, and owned a consulting firm for 9 years. She graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a B.S. in Psychology.
