Arielle Guttman is the founder and director of Sophia Venus. She developed the Venus Star Point system, first published in her 2011 book Venus Star Rising: A New Cosmology for the 21st Century, and runs a three-level professional certification and training programme in the system. She was certified by Jim Lewis in Astro*Carto*Graphy in 1986 and co-authored The Astro*Carto*Graphy Book of Maps with Lewis in 1989. She has also developed original work in Geodetics (Earth Astrology). She is a faculty member at Kepler College, where she teaches the Venus Cycle course and a Geodetics Master Class. Co-authored the Mythic Astrology series with Kenneth Johnson. Her work integrates natal chart interpretation, relationship astrology, progressions, relocation, mythology, archetypes, dreamwork, and psychological and spiritual insight.
