Bernadette Brady is an Australian-born astrologer based in Bristol, UK, internationally recognised for her work on predictive astrology, fixed stars, and parans. She is the author of several widely used astrology books and the creator of the Starlight and JigSaw software tools used by practising astrologers worldwide. Bernadette Brady holds an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from Bath Spa University, a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) on beliefs in fate in contemporary astrology, and an MA in Egyptology from the University of Manchester. She is a tutor on the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at UWTSD and co-director of Astro Logos Ltd, which she co-founded as both an astrological practice and teaching school. Her astrological work is particularly known for predictive astrology, fixed stars and parans, visual astrology, and the philosophical study of fate within astrological practice. She holds an FAA Diploma (Federation of Australian Astrologers, 1987) and has received the Charles Harvey Award for exceptional service to astrology (Astrological Association, UK, 2006), the Regulus Award in Theory and Understanding in Astrology (UAC, 2008), and the Golden Jupiter Award from the German Astrological Association (2024). Her software products Starlight and JigSaw are widely used by practising astrologers. She is also a director of the Kemet Klub in her Egyptology work.
