Brad Kochunas Astrology Services

Brad Kochunas is a therapeutic astrologer based in Middletown, SW Ohio, with 30 years of practice. His work draws on depth psychology and archetypal thought rather than prediction, treating the natal chart as a mythological language for exploring who you are. A strong fit if you are navigating a difficult life transition, want a session that feels more like therapeutic exploration than a forecast, or prefer written exchanges over live calls. Writing-intensive eConsults are available for asynchronous work. Currently on sabbatical from new in-person sessions; past clients and urgent inquiries are welcome.

About

Brad Kochunas spent three decades as a licensed mental health counselor, much of that time working in prison mental health, where he integrated astrology and counseling into his approach. He holds an MA from Miami University. His astrological work is rooted in the archetypal and depth psychology tradition, drawing on the thought of James Hillman, Rollo May, Thomas Moore, and Mircea Eliade. He approaches astrology as a healing fiction and mythological framework rather than a predictive system. He is a certified astrologer who has presented at ISAR and UAC conferences, and has published in The Mountain Astrologer and the International Astrologer.
