Brian Clark began studying astrology in 1972 in Canada and moved to Australia where he founded Astro*Synthesis in Melbourne in 1986, a long-running applied astrology education programme combining in-class and distance learning. He holds an MA and BA (Hons) in Classics and Archaeology from the University of Melbourne, and for 20 years led tours to ancient sacred sites in Greece through Odyssey Tours. He has lectured in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America, and served as main tutor at the Faculty of Astrological Studies Summer School in Oxford in 2008, 2012, 2015, and 2018. Clark has served as national president of the Fraternity for Canadian Astrologers and the Federation of Australian Astrologers, and as chairman of the Association of Professional Astrologers. He holds Life Membership from the APA, FAA, and Victorian Astrologers Association, is registered with the FAA as an Accredited Astrology Teacher, and has been nominated four times for a Regulus Award and twice for the Charles Harvey Award. His books have been translated into French and Chinese.
