Carol Lavoie is a full-time professional counseling astrologer with over 34 years of experience serving clients worldwide. She holds a Master's degree in Special Education from NYU and is a Certified Astrologer at NCGR Level IV Counseling. Carol specialises in natal chart analysis and yearly forecast sessions, and her spiritual journey began in 1965 through the anthroposophical works of Rudolf Steiner, followed by studies with Chinese herbalist Michael Tierra, herbalist Rosemary Gladstar, and health food innovators Aveline and Michio Kushi in northern California in the late 1960s. Through her professional life she has also worked as a hypnotherapist and tarot card consultant. One of her deep passions is medical astrology and holistic health, with over 40 years of study in herbology, homeopathy, diet and nutrition, and other alternative systems including studies at Bridgeport University and the Caduceus Institute. She and her husband, astrologer Alphee Lavoie, are married and have co-led the Astrological Institute of Research (AIR) and AIR Software. Carol is head of Alphee's Astrology Online School and an integral part of the AIR organisation. Her media career has included weekly astrology readings on WRCH radio, a 7-year television talk show called Positive Lifestyles (NBC, CBS, ABC), and writing for major publications. She is based in West Hartford, Connecticut.
