Cat Cox (MA, D.F. Astrol. S.) is a professional astrologer and educator based in London, practising in East London (Spitalfields, E1) and at The Atlantis Bookshop in Bloomsbury (WC1). An astrological journey beginning in 1984 has taken her through modern, traditional, and academic approaches to the art. Cat trained with the Faculty of Astrological Studies, holding the Faculty Diploma (1996), and served as President of the Faculty from 2015 to 2024. She completed a traditional horary training with John Frawley in 2003 and was awarded the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from Bath Spa University in 2007. She is a Fellow of APAI (Association of Professional Astrologers International). Her approach blends a modern psychological perspective with the rigour of traditional practice, shaped by a long interest in the Western Mystery Tradition, goddess spirituality, Jungian and transpersonal psychology, and healing. She now thinks of her practice as a spiritual practice and her relationship with astrology as a path of the soul. Consultations cover natal chart interpretation, forecasting, relationship and synastry, relocation, electional, and parent-child work. Sessions are available in person and online via Zoom or telephone.
