Dale O'Brien is an astrologer, writer, and teacher based in Eugene, Oregon, working through Chiron Soul Journey Truth. He began serious study of astrology in 1969 and became a full-time astrologer in 1991, having previously held land management and landscape contracts with the Corps of Engineers. He holds a BA with honors in Education from the University of Maryland and is trained as a Dream Tender through the Pacifica Graduate Institute. For approximately fifteen years he led the premier Washington, D.C. astrological organization of its era, and has taught and presented at local, national, and international astrological organizations. A Jim Lewis-trained certified Astro*Carto*Graphy interpreter, his work also incorporates psychological depth, mythic themes, social commentary, and locational astrology. He is a member of ISAR (C.A.P.), AFAN, and NCGR. Writings have appeared in The Mountain Astrologer and the book From Here to There: An Astrologer's Guide to Astromapping. He also publishes the Astrology Minority Report email newsletter.
