About
Gregory Clare is a Sydney-based astrologer, teacher, lecturer, and author who has been active in astronomy and astrology since 1980. His connection to the night sky began during 28 years as a commercial fisherman, navigating by the stars at sea. Formal studies led to specialisation in Hellenistic and Classical astrology, hermetic philosophy, and mundane astrology. He served as President of the Sydney Astrological Research Society Inc. (SARS, 2006-2014) and the Astrology Association of NSW Inc. (AANSW, 2007-2014), and was co-convener of the 17th International FAA Astrology Conference in Sydney (2008). He has served as Director and Instructor on the USA Administrative Board of the International Academy of Astrology (IAA) and is a Practitioner member of the Association of Professional Astrologers Inc. (APA) and the Federation of Australian Astrologers (FAA). Gregory has lectured internationally at UAC (United Astrology Conference) and nationally across Australia, presented at the Sydney Theosophical Society, and appeared on TVS and SBS. Writing has been published in The Mountain Astrologer, the FAA Journal, and the NCGR Geocosmic Journal.
