Ira Kiourti has studied astrology since childhood, alongside a first degree in Fine Art from Chelsea Art College, and completed the Certificate at the Centre for Psychological Astrology in the 1990s, training founded by Liz Greene and Howard Sasportas. Academic studies continued with two Philosophy Masters from the University of Glasgow and the University of St Andrews, followed by a PhD in Logic and Metaphysics from St Andrews. She later qualified as a rapid transformational hypnotherapist before completing the Diploma with the Faculty of Astrological Studies and joining the Association of Professional Astrologers International. Her academic background in philosophy and logic shapes a precise, analytical approach to chart interpretation alongside the psychological astrology tradition.
