James Lynn Page gained the Faculty of Astrological Studies Certificate in 1984 and began client work shortly afterwards. His first major astrology book, Jungian Birth Charts (1988, Aquarian Press, under the pen name Arthur Dione), was praised by Prediction magazine as one of the best books to bring added depth to horoscope interpretation. He subsequently became an author and astrological consultant for W. Foulsham Publishing, co-authoring their annual 12-volume Old Moores Horoscope and Astral Diaries series and serving as chief consultant on Old Moores Almanac, one of the longest-running astrological almanacs in print. His later books include How Astrology Works (2019), which Alan Oken described as a wonderful job of synthesis and Melanie Reinhart called articulate, readable, often wry and very funny, and Astro-Magic (Perrault, 2023). He also produces the annual Gardening and Planting by the Moon title for W. Foulsham. His written work spans astrology, Tarot, mythology, alchemy, consciousness, Jungian psychology, and the conscious universe. He has been a regular columnist for Diamond Fire quarterly, has written the monthly astrology newsletter for Raphaels Ephemeris, and has contributed guest posts to Stars Over Washington and the website of Melanie Reinhart. His YouTube channel features interviews with Melanie Reinhart and the late Jonathan Cainer, as well as a short film on quantum physics and consciousness.
