Jean Elliott holds the Diploma from the Faculty of Astrological Studies, gained in 1984, and has practised as a consultant astrologer since then. She worked in social housing until 1995 before devoting herself fully to astrology. She tutored for the Faculty of Astrological Studies from 1999 to 2002 and taught astrology in Local Authority adult education classes, before founding astrologycollege.com in 2002, where she remains responsible for course development and has authored a substantial portion of the course manuals covering natal chart analysis, forecasting, synastry, ethics, and the history of astrology. Since the mid-1990s she has also created astrology gardens at the Astrological Association conference and summer camps. She holds DFAstrolS, RCAstrol, and Hon.Dip.astrol.c, and is a Fellow of the Association of Professional Astrologers International.
