Jodie Forrest has been working with clients and students since 1983, developing her practice within the Evolutionary Astrology tradition alongside Steven Forrest, by whom she was mentored throughout her professional formation. She is a Certified Professional Astrologer as listed by the International Academy of Astrology (IAA), where she teaches courses including storytelling in chart interpretation. She holds a BA and MA in French from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MA in Educational Technology from San Diego State University. Her specialties include chart rectification and solar arc directions, on which she is a recognised authority and published author. She is the author of The Ascendant: Your Rising Sign, Solar Arcs: Directions from the Sun (2022), and co-author with Steven Forrest of Skymates: Love, Sex and Evolutionary Astrology and Skymates II: The Composite Chart. She is also the author of a historical fantasy trilogy beginning with The Rhymer and the Ravens. She contributes regularly to major astrological journals and has lectured on astrology across the United States and in the United Kingdom, Canada, and France.
