Joe Landwehr is a transpersonal astrologer, teacher, and author based in Mountain View, Missouri, with nearly 50 years of experience working with astrology. Trained as a humanistic psychotherapist in the 1970s, he holds an MS in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling and has since woven spiritual teachings from yogic philosophy, Siddha yoga, Native American ceremonial traditions, and Pythagorean number theory into a unique approach he calls astropoetics. He received professional certification as an astrologer from PAI (Professional Astrologers, Inc.) in 1977, and between 1993 and 1995 studied medical astrology with Dr. Ingrid Naiman, receiving a certificate of competence. He founded the Astropoetic School of Soul Discovery and Ancient Tower Press, and has authored five books on astrology, philosophy, and the soul. Consultations combine chart analysis with chakra pattern work and written reports of 25-30 pages. Sessions are conducted by phone or Skype.
