Joyce Hopewell began astrological training in 1984 and qualified with the Diploma in Astrological Psychology from the Astrological Psychology Institute (API), awarded by Bruno and Louise Huber in 1987. She also holds a Diploma in Personal Psychosynthesis. She served as Principal of API UK from 1991 and became Principal Emeritus of the Astrological Psychology Association (APA) in 2006, a role she held until 2019. Her practice is grounded in the Huber Method, which uses the natal chart as a dynamic tool for psychological growth, incorporating aspect patterns, age progression, and the psychological significance of house positions. She has been a correspondence course tutor and has taught astrological psychology extensively. She has authored and co-authored several books on the Huber Method published under the HopeWell imprint, and maintains a blog at joycehopewell.blogspot.com.
