Karcicegi Zeynep Aykurt, also known as Flower, holds a degree from Bogazici University Faculty of Education, along with Doctorate and MBA qualifications. She is also a conservatory graduate and a licensed professional tour guide. Outside astrology she has worked as a professional educator, dancer, artist, dance historian, and researcher, and competed nationally as an alpine ski athlete in giant slalom and Super G. She has lived in both Turkey and the United States, across nine states. In 2019 she founded Anatolika Astrology as an astrological research unit within the Anatolika Arts and Culture Institute she had earlier established, with active research into the history and archaeology of astrology in Anatolia and the intersection of performing arts and astrology.
