Kari Noren-Hoshal grew up in Panama, Egypt, Italy, France, and the UK between the ages of 7 and 21, developing an early interest in the sacred practices of non-western cultures that shaped her astrological approach. She completed formal training at the Creative Choices school of karmic astrology in Baltimore and earned a certificate in evolutionary astrology from the Evolutionary Astrology Network (EAN), studying with Kim Marie and Maurice Fernandez. Her work is most closely aligned with the frameworks of Jeffrey Wolf Green and Steven Forrest. She has presented at UAC, NORWAC, the River of Stars Astrology Conference in Hawaii, and for NCGR chapters across the Mid-Atlantic states and internationally in South Africa, Hawaii, Oregon, and Ohio. She served as Vice President for Programming of the Baltimore Astrological Society and is Director of Astrology of the Sacred World Peace Church and Alliance, a role she has held since 2011. She teaches a two-year internship program in evolutionary astrology online via Zoom from her home in Sarasota. She also teaches Maya astrology and has presented workshops on the intersection of evolutionary astrology and indigenous sacred traditions.
