Kate Arbon began astrological self-study in her mid-teens and completed an evening class in London in her early twenties before relocating from England to West Cork, Ireland in 1995, where she launched her professional consulting practice. Since 2008 she has studied Horary astrology with Deborah Houlding, completing the School of Traditional Astrology (STA) Practitioners Level Horary Course, and Hellenistic astrology with Chris Brennan. Traditional and ancient techniques now form the backbone of her work, integrated with selected modern approaches. In addition to individual consultations she teaches one-to-one tuition and group astrology courses, and writes a regular horoscope column for the West Cork People monthly paper. She has appeared on FM104 radio and other media. Her practice also includes Metaphysical Mentoring under the name Soul Helix Wisdom, supporting clients in personal development and spiritual evolution alongside the astrological work.
