
Kathryn Silverton
Kathryn Silverton is a certified professional astrologer based in Lilburn, Georgia. She holds a Master's degree in psychology from The University of West Georgia (1979) and became professionally certified as an astrologer by the American Federation of Astrologers in 1983. Her specialties include electional astrology - recommending ideal timing for major life events such as surgery, real estate transactions, weddings, business openings, and fertility cycles - as well as natal chart interpretation, forecasting, compatibility, relocation (astrocartography), and medical astrology. Kathryn serves on the Board of Directors of the American Federation of Astrologers and has served as President of the Metropolitan Atlanta Astrological Society. She has presented lectures at conferences sponsored by the AFA and UAC (United Astrology Conference) and has had articles published by NCGR. She authored a monthly column for United Airlines' Hemispheres inflight magazine and contributed to Aquarius magazine. She teaches intermediate to advanced astrology, including secondary progressions, solar arcs, solar returns, and the mathematics of chart casting required for AFA certification exams.
