Kelley Hunter, Ph.D., has been studying astrology since 1967, beginning with a correspondence course through the Rosicrucian Fellowship. She holds an MA in Depth Psychology and Creative Communications from Vermont College (1986) and a Ph.D. in Humanities specialising in cosmology and myth. She has served on the Board of the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR) and holds the C.A.P. (Certified Astrological Professional) designation. She has served on the adjunct faculties of several Vermont colleges and for 18 years was Astrologer-in-Residence for the Omega Institute winter programs and the Self Centre at Caneel Bay Resort in the US Virgin Islands, where she also led nightly stargazing programs. As Director of HELIA Productions, she creates programs in astronomy, astrology, and myth for diverse audiences, including workshop formats such as AstroDrama, Planet Dances, Astrology and Mandala Art, and Lilith and the Cosmic Feminine Path. She has lectured at UAC, ISAR, and the Astrological Association of Great Britain, as well as the Theosophical Society of America. No specific named astrological mentors are confirmed in public sources beyond her self-directed study and academic training.
