Komilla Sutton is an internationally renowned Vedic astrologer, teacher, lecturer, and author, active as a consultant since 1995. Born in India, she began her astrological studies in Bombay in 1979 with Dr. Ajit Sinha, a Sanskrit scholar. After moving to England in 1982, she studied with two further teachers in Vedic astrology, including a Sanskrit scholar and an astrologer to the Queen. In 1996 she co-founded the British Association for Vedic Astrology (BAVA) with Andrew Foss and has served as its co-founder and chairman. She was part of the faculty at the American College of Vedic Astrology and a council member of the Astrological Association of Great Britain. Now primarily based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, she runs an active online Academy with a three-year study program and annual advanced courses. She has led trips to India since 1999 and has organized the annual Fresh Talents International Vedic Astrology Conference since 2013. Komilla is the author of seven books on Vedic astrology.
