Komilla Sutton began her astrological studies in Bombay in 1979 under Dr. Ajit Sinha, a Sanskrit scholar, and continued her training in England from 1982 with two further Vedic teachers, one of whom served as astrologer to the Queen. In 1996 she co-founded the British Association for Vedic Astrology (BAVA) with Andrew Foss and has served as its Chairman since. She is a faculty member of the American College of Vedic Astrology and organises the annual Fresh Talents International Vedic Astrology Conference, running since 2013. Her published work spans seven books and covers the essentials of Jyotish, nakshatras, lunar nodes, panchanga, and divisional charts. She runs a multi-year online Vedic Astrology Academy with courses at Foundation, Interpretation, Prediction, and Advanced levels, and her YouTube channel and monthly Planetary News column serve as ongoing teaching resources.
