Laura Rose Desjardins has been practicing professionally for over 45 years, with a focus on predictive astrology using transits, progressions, directions, midpoints, and intuition. She is the founder and director of the Southern California Astrological Network (SCAN), established in 1986, and was formerly the director of the Michigan Astrological Association. She authored several works including Time Passages and the Astro-Medical Wheel, and created the astrological report writer Midpoint Keys for Matrix Software. Her media career has included appearances on CBS Radio, NBC's Today Show, and the Discovery Channel (Prophecies: The Millennium and Prophecies of Nostradamus), and feature articles in People Magazine, Orange Coast Magazine, the Orange County Register, and the Los Angeles Times Business Section. She has served as Staff Astrologer at radio stations and national publications, lectured aboard Norwegian, Princess, and Celebrity Cruise Lines, and served as lecturer consultant to the Golden Door Resort and Spa. She has presented at international conferences in the United States, Belgrade (Serbia), Istanbul (Turkey), and Kolkata (India). She teaches ongoing classes on midpoints and lectures regularly at SCAN monthly meetings.
