Linda Furiate is a professional consulting astrologer, former TV host and producer, addictions coach, Reiki practitioner, and motivational speaker based in Columbia, Maryland. Astrological interest began in 1990 and formal training was completed at the International Academy of Astrology (IAA), graduating in 2012. She served as Editor of the IAA newsletter from 2010 to 2022 and continues as a board member and Media Director of the IAA. She is also Program Director for the Annapolis chapter of NCGR and a member of ISAR. A former administrator for an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center, much of the astrological work centers on understanding how addictive and habitual behavior shows up in the birth chart, and how astrological insight can support healthier routines and positive daily rituals. Readings integrate natal chart analysis, transit work, vocational astrology, and a deep focus on the psychology of self-limiting behavior and how to move through it.
