Lynn Holt gained the Diploma in Advanced Astrology from the Mayo School of Astrology in London in 2015, qualifying her for membership of the Association of Professional Astrologers International. In 2017 she gained the Horary Craftsman diploma from John Frawley, and is also a member of the Organisation of Professional Astrologers. Her horary work follows strictly traditional methods, a branch of astrology she has made her primary specialisation. John Frawley is her named teacher and diploma granting authority for horary astrology, and she also credits Ivy Goldstein Jacobson's early writings and the Mayo School faculty as formative influences. Self directed study began in the late 1990s, with formal client work beginning around 2010.
