Marcos Vinicius Monteiro is a Brazilian traditional and horary astrologer based in Barra Velha, Santa Catarina, Brazil. He has been studying and practising traditional western astrology - with a primary focus on horary - since 2002-3. His approach is rooted in the Western astrological tradition and draws significantly on the techniques of British astrologer John Frawley. He also writes on natal astrology, fixed stars, and mundane astrology. He is a published author in Portuguese (O Frade e a Astrologia, available in print and e-book via Clube de Autores) and runs a Patreon community for astrology enthusiasts.
