Marcos Vinicius Monteiro has been studying and practising traditional Western astrology since 2002 to 2003, with a primary focus on horary. His approach is rooted in pre-modern Western astrological technique and draws significantly on the work of British astrologer John Frawley, the most prominent contemporary voice in the revival of traditional horary. He also writes on natal astrology, fixed stars, and mundane astrology. He is a published author in Portuguese, with his book O Frade e a Astrologia available in print and e-book through Clube de Autores in Brazil.
