Mark Douglas holds a Diploma in Astrological Psychology from the Astrological Psychology Association (UK), studying the Huber method, and undertook advanced training in horary and traditional astrology under John Frawley from 2019 to 2023. He completed a graduate qualification in Psychosynthesis Transpersonal Psychology from the Synthesis Center San Francisco and is completing a Master's in Theology and Peace at St Stephen's University. His background also includes one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, coursework in imagery and waking dream work with the Amsterdam School for Imagery, and a Bachelor's in Human Development from the University of Prince Edward Island. He is a member of the Atlantic Association of Professional Astrologers as its provincial representative, a member of the Association of Professional Astrologers International, and a Board Certified Coach. Before founding The Sea Within You, his work spanned human development, life skills, communications, and adult literacy.
