Martyn J. Shrewsbury holds degrees in Social Anthropology and Classics from Swansea University, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Jungian Studies. His astrological training began with Steve Judd at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, before progressing to comprehensive training in Hellenistic, Horary, and Electional Astrology at Chris Brennan's Astrology School. He holds the MISPA Diploma in Psychological Astrology from the Mercury Internet School of Psychological Astrology under John Green, as well as a Certificate in Psychological Astrology from the Centre for Psychological Astrology. He completed additional training in Jungian and Post Jungian Clinical Concepts with the Centre for Applied Jungian Studies. He is a fully accredited member of the Association of Professional Astrologers International and an IPHM accredited recognised training provider.
