Michael Bartlett has a BA in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz, where he encountered astrology for the first time in the mid-1980s. He moved to Santa Fe in 1999 and became a practicing astrologer following a transformative reading with astrologer Tom Brady. He is certified in Core Energetics, a body-oriented therapeutic process. He uses whole sign houses and incorporates Uranian astrology alongside other methodologies. He is the co-creator of AstroTheatre, a visual and experiential approach to astrology that portrays chart dynamics using archetypal imagery rather than symbols, and the co-creator of AstroTheatre AstroCards, an app based on this system. He has served as interim president of Kepler College and teaches workshops and courses there as part of their certificate program. He is Outreach Director of the NCGR and a local chapter president. He is a regular contributor to NCGR publications, hosts a weekly YouTube program called Deep Dives with New Perspectives, and is the author of two books on astrology.
