Mónica Teixeira holds a Diploma from the Faculty of Astrological Studies, completed between 2007 and 2014. She has served as Head of Exams at the Faculty of Astrological Studies since 2022, as a member of the Faculty Council since 2019, and as a tutor there since 2017. She began studying astrology at the Quíron school in Lisbon between 1996 and 2001, under the teaching of Maria Flávia. Before becoming a full-time astrologer in 2016, she worked for approximately 20 years in information technology, holding a degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon, and a post-graduation in the same field. She also holds an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer certification and completed an International Coaching Certification course with Cris Carvalho in 2019. She was born in Luanda and grew up in Portugal. She is the creator of AstroKairos, an application that allows users to explore their natal chart interactively.
