Prudence Jones Astrology Services

Prudence Jones is a Cambridge based astrologer with 40 years of experience, known for an unusually academic and philosophical approach to the craft. Her background as a Cambridge trained logician and integrative psychotherapist shapes sessions that are reflective and precise rather than quick or formulaic, suited to clients who want their chart explored in real depth. She specialises in problem solving, political, and experiential astrology, and is the author of Creative Astrology. Best suited for clients facing a genuinely difficult decision or seeking a more intellectually rigorous reading than typical consultations offer. Consultations and talks are available; contact via prudencejones.co.uk for current pricing and format.

About

Prudence Jones holds an MA from Cambridge and is a Fellow of the Association of Professional Astrologers International (FAPAI) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). She began her career as an academic philosopher specialising in ancient and medieval logic, teaching at Cambridge and the University of Alberta before training as an integrative psychotherapist. As a writer on pagan traditions, her co-authored work A History of Pagan Europe (with Nigel Pennick, Routledge, 1995) has become a standard textbook in the field, and she also co-authored Voices from the Circle with Caitlin Matthews. She served as President of the Pagan Federation from 1979 to 1991 and again from 2000 to 2002, alongside multiple interfaith leadership roles. Prudence regularly gives talks and lectures, and has appeared as a guest speaker at events including the Cambridge Astrology Club and major astrological conferences.
