Rhys Chatham is a traditional astrologer based in Paris, France, specializing in horary and natal astrology. Holding the Advanced Horary Diploma from the School of Traditional Astrology (STA DipH) and membership of the Association of Professional Astrologers International (MAPAI) and OPA/AFAN, practice draws on extensive training in both traditional and Hellenistic methods. Rhys began studying 20th century astrology with Charles and Vivian Jayne in the late 1960s and 1970s. More recently, formal training has included completing Chris Brennan's full Hellenistic astrology course and horary course, natal and horary courses with Christopher Warnock (including astrological magic), advanced primary directions with Dr. Martin Gansten (Master Diploma, August 2023), and the School of Traditional Astrology's Horary Practitioner's course and Advanced Horary Diploma (November 2022). Currently an instructor at Kepler College. Rhys is also a hermetic kabbalist and member of esoteric lodges in the United Kingdom since 2000. Sessions are conducted via Zoom in English or French. Readings are also available in person at a studio in Paris.
