Robyn Ray is a professional astrologer, counselor, and teacher based in Brighton, England, with over three decades of practice. Interest in astrology began in the 1980s, followed by formal training with the Faculty of Astrological Studies, from which she gained the Diploma in 1990. She is one of a small group of experienced astrologers who also completed the Faculty's two-year Counselling Diploma, grounded in humanistic and transpersonal psychology. In 2013 Robyn undertook further study with the School of Traditional Astrology. One of the first members of the Association of Professional Astrologers International, she served for several years as a Council Member and Treasurer, and in 2005 was awarded a Fellowship (FAPAI) in recognition of her contribution to astrology. Robyn is particularly known for her work with the Metonic Cycle and Moon Phases as tools for timing events, and has designed a series of annual lunar phase diaries for this purpose.
