Sharon Knight holds the Certificate and Intermediate Diploma from the Faculty of Astrology and the Horary Practitioners Diploma (QHP). She is Chair and a Fellow of the Association of Professional Astrologers International (APAI), Europe's only professional body requiring a recognized diploma for membership, and has edited its quarterly newsletter for 15 years. She holds an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from Bath Spa University (2004), with a dissertation on astrology in 16th and 17th century medicine, and a Diploma in Phytotherapy (Herbalism). She was named Astrologer of the Year at the 26th International Astrological Conference in India in January 2016. She trained directly under the late Olivia Barclay, founder of the QHP course, and later under Robert Zoller, deepening her specialization in medieval and classical techniques. She is the current Course Convenor and Tutor for the QHP, teaches her own Traditional Natal Astrology course, and has lectured in Greece, India, South Africa, Taiwan and Turkey. She previously held an 11-year regular radio slot discussing astrology and world events, and wrote for the magazine Now and the Daily Mirror.
