Stephanie Austin holds a master's degree in Consciousness Studies and a bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a background in Holistic Health and spiritual development. She was an adjunct professor at John F. Kennedy University for 15 years and wrote the New and Full Moon column for The Mountain Astrologer magazine from 2002 to 2016. She is the author of EcoAstrology: Finding Our Way Home and Life After Twinkies: A Holistic Guide to Dietary Change, and continues to offer bimonthly New and Full Moon Forecasts by subscription as well as Yearly Forecasts. Her approach draws on mysticism, mythic archetypes, transpersonal psychology, and the new physics, framing the birth chart as a description of a person's soul intentions rather than a fixed prediction. She has also been a guest on Wiki Politiki Radio discussing the intersection of astrology and conscious living.
