Yvette Marks holds an MSc in Consciousness, Spirituality and Transpersonal Psychology from the Alef Trust in partnership with Liverpool John Moores University, with a dissertation on shamanic practitioners' lived experience of power in Western society, and an Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of South Africa. She is a certified astrologer from the Mayo School of Astrology and has also studied hypnotherapy and psychotherapy. Her energy healing training includes Theta Healing, TAT and Reiki at Master level, and she has undertaken intensive, apprenticeship style shamanic training over several years, most notably with The Sacred Trust. Additional self directed study has covered Western ceremonial magic, tarot and runes. Prior to her astrology practice she worked in NHS commissioned organisational and leadership development roles. No specific individual astrological mentors are named in her public training history.
