Formal qualifications include a Certificate in Astrology from the Faculty of Astrological Studies (2004), an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from the University of Wales, Lampeter (2012), and a Certificate and Diploma in Astrology, covering both natal and mundane work, from the Mayo School of Astrology (2020 and 2022). Professional affiliations include the Astrological Association (UK), the Association of Professional Astrologers International (APAI), and the Astrological Lodge of London. Research has included work on the astrological symbolism of national founding moments and historical events, with findings presented at conferences such as the AA Conference and APAI talks. Despite holding formal qualifications, the approach remains rooted in ongoing study, with a continued emphasis on keeping the practice of astrology fresh and intellectually engaged.
