Ananur Forma (formerly Carol Forma) has been practicing and teaching astrology since the early 1970s. She studied with Isabel M. Hickey, a highly influential American astrologer and author of Astrology: A Cosmic Science, in Boston, including participation in Hickey's Friday Night Fix meditation group at Boston University. She began teaching astrology classes in 1976 at Camden/Rockport Adult Education in Maine. Her practice integrates natal charts, progressed charts, transits, and solar return charts. She has also trained in the Divine Feminine approach to Emotional Release Process (based on Arthur Janov's Primal Therapy) with Ellen Hutchison, and has offered workshops combining astrology with meditation and experiential practices throughout her career.
