Chris Mitchell is a professional astrologer based in Leicester, UK, specialising in traditional and medieval astrology. Astrological studies have been active since the 1990s. He holds a PhD from the University of Leicester on the topic of medieval astrology, an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from Bath Spa University College, and a Diploma in Medieval Astrology from Astrologos (Bernadette Brady's school). He is a tutor on the MA Cultural Astronomy and Astrology course at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Chris is on the boards of both the Astrological Association and the Association of Professional Astrologers International (APAI), and was the joint recipient of the Charles Harvey Award for Exceptional Service to Astrology in 2021. Talks are given regularly to astrology groups and conferences throughout Europe and the US, and an annual medieval astrology retreat course is hosted on the Greek island of Lefkada.
